Premise/Occupations & Living
The premise of this game is pretty simple: the characters in this game are all people living or working on Main Street, USA. Main Street is just as historical, quaint, and clean cut as the amusement park's version. The difference is that instead of actors dressed up Princesses or college kids selling Mickey Mouse pins, it's the characters living as the citizens of Disneyland (roughly based on geography of Disneyland, CA), a real part of America and not an amusement park. The characters are all human, and living in the modern day. Maybe Sleeping Beauty is the Narcoleptic singer at the local jazz club who dates Marlin, NOU's marine biology teacher.
We invite players to recreate animated and Pixar Disney characters here at Main Street for a mature game, for mature players.
While we do ask that you pick from one of the housing options, work places will be added as members ask for them. Mainstreet has a booming retail district, offices, et cetera. Your Belle might own the local bookstore, and the Mad Hatter might own a tea shop. If you are accepted as a member, and created a shop/other place of work, please post here with it's name, needed workers, and short description, and we'll post it. If you see somewhere your character would like to work, just list it under your application.
Please note: your character can also be a student at New Orleans University (NOU), and can be housed in the NOU off campus housing if needed.
